More and more, I live from this place of awareness that where I am this moment is precisely where I’m supposed to be. And never more so than when I’m feeling as if where I am is the last place I’d like to be. In Buddhism, there is this teaching that, what you’re experiencing this moment will never completely disappear until you learn the lesson it was sent to teach you.
My biggest challenge is to live into this moment, however unpleasant it may be. To look with determined abandon for the truth I must learn, perhaps as a miner might pan for a tiny nugget of gold. I know it is there and, when discovered, I advance more completely into the very peace I long to know.
Do not try to change what is. Live into what is. When you’ve learned the lesson it appears to show you, the circumstances will change on there own. This is the mystery of successful living.
